Talend Consultant

Talend Consultant Location: Norwalk, CA Duration: 12 months (onsite) Key Responsibilities and Required Skills Create robust data extract, transfer, and load processes that can handle terabytes of data throughput. Develop and implement Talend Data Fabric for data integration, quality, and governance. Administer the Talend Administrator Center (TAC) server. Develop Oracle database objects and recommend infrastructure design supporting Database and Talend. Conduct performance tuning, analysis, and optimization of reports and SQL. Provide knowledge transfer and serve as a technical expert. Train technical teams. Develop functional and technical specifications and other required documentation. Participate in business requirement meetings and provide reports and updates as directed by the PM. Create artifacts such as flow charts, process flow diagrams, and data flow diagrams. Ensure proper testing and quality control processes are established, implemented, and followed to maintain high data integrity, volume, and frequency. Ensure database compliance and security both on‑premises and on‑cloud. Develop and maintain operational documentation for ongoing maintenance. Experience and Qualifications At least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years using Talend (Version 6.5 or greater) and related tools. At least 3 years of experience within the last 7 years developing and implementing ETL processes. At least 3 years of experience within the last 7 years of SQL and PL/SQL programming, including OLTP and OLAP object development. At least 1 year of experience developing BI solutions on on‑prem and cloud technologies. At least 1 year of experience implementing Talend Data Catalog/Data Lineage. At least 3 years of experience working with Oracle databases 12c and above. At least 1 year of experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud technologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related engineering field from an accredited university. Additional Information Two positions are available.
