Qualifications: RequirementsB.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience in site civil or municipal designProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal-related projectsEIT certification preferred (or in progress)Strong attention to detail and solid communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesMunicipal & Site DesignPerform design tasks involving:Stormwater managementDetention basin layoutInfrastructure rehabilitationState and local permitting requirementsDevelop high-quality engineering drawings and technical documentsTechnical Documentation & PermittingPrepare engineering reports, technical memos, and supporting documentationDraft and assemble permit applications for state and municipal agenciesPlan Review & ComplianceReview subdivision and utility plans submitted by developersEnsure project compliance with municipal ordinances, including:Subdivision & land developmentZoningGradingStormwater managementSupport construction administration tasks and escrow tracking when required Why is This a Great Opportunity: What Youll GainExposure to a variety of municipal engineering projectsMentorship from senior engineers and municipal professionalsA collaborative environment with room to grow into more advanced client-facing or project management rolesThe chance to make a meaningful impact on community infrastructure and developmentNigel
