Warehouse Lead Details:
- Direct Hire position
- $50,000.00 to $56,000.00 / annually
- First Shift
- This is a hands-on player/coach role. Roughly 90% doing the work and 10% leading it. Over time, as you build trust and demonstrate results, the role is designed to grow toward a 60/40 balance, with more of your time spent coaching, developing the team, and driving improvements.
- From the start, you will have significant influence over how we optimize our processes, and we want someone who brings ideas to the table and helps shape how the warehouse runs.
- Work hands-on alongside the team while leading and coordinating warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse policies.
- Operate and oversee the use of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Identify and drive process optimization opportunities across daily operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer programs for tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Identify and resolve warehouse-related issues efficiently.
Warehouse Lead Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Several years of hands-on warehouse experience, including lead or supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a willingness to lead by example on the floor.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
