Service Technician

Job Description

WE’RE HIRING: LEAD PLUMBING & HVAC TECHNICIANS\n

South Florida | Full-Time | Year-Round Work | Growth-Focused

Are you the tech everyone calls when they can’t figure it out?

Are you the person who wants to find the actual problem, fix it the right way, and leave the customer feeling confident they called the right company?

Then we should talk.

At All Star Plumbing & Air , we’re a growing, family-owned company looking for experienced Lead Plumbing and HVAC Service Technicians who take pride in their work and want to be part of a team that actually has their back.

You won’t be treated like another truck number here. We want skilled technicians who can think, communicate, lead, and take ownership of the customer experience from start to finish.

\n
• Consistent, year-round work
\n
• Supportive leadership that is accessible and involved
\n
• Clean, stocked service trucks
\n
• Established processes and systems to help you succeed
\n
• Opportunities to grow, learn, lead, and advance
\n
• A team built around accountability, respect, and doing the job right
\n
• A company that recognizes great performance and wants its best people to grow with us
\n

As a Lead Plumbing or HVAC Technician , you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your service calls from the moment you arrive until the job is complete.

You’ll:

\n
• Fully diagnose residential plumbing or HVAC systems instead of stopping at the first obvious problem
\n
• Identify the root cause and provide customers with the right long-term solutions
\n
• Present clear repair and replacement options so customers can make informed decisions
\n
• Perform high-quality repairs and service work
\n
• Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, management, and other technicians
\n
• Document your work thoroughly with notes, photos, estimates, and invoices
\n
• Follow company service processes and SOPs consistently
\n
• Help troubleshoot difficult calls and support less-experienced technicians when needed
\n
• Take ownership when a job gets complicated and work toward getting the customer taken care of
\n
• Represent All Star Plumbing & Air with professionalism, confidence, and integrity
\n

We’re looking for experienced service technicians who:

\n
• Have strong residential plumbing or HVAC service experience
\n
• Can diagnose beyond the obvious failure
\n
• Are confident performing repairs within their trade
\n
• Have strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
\n
• Communicate well with homeowners
\n
• Understand that being a great technician also means providing a great customer experience
\n
• Take pride in clean, professional work
\n
• Can follow established company processes
\n
• Are comfortable using technology and service software
\n
• Want to be part of a team instead of operating like a one-person company
\n
• Have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
\n
• Are willing to participate in an on-call rotation
\n

You have a “dog on a bone” mentality .

When something gets difficult, you don’t immediately give up, pass it off, or tell the customer someone else needs to come back.

You investigate. You think. You ask questions. You use your resources. And you work toward getting the job completed correctly.

We don’t expect anyone to know everything.

We do expect our Lead Techs to care enough to figure it out.

If you’re an experienced Plumbing or HVAC Technician looking for a company where you can be appreciated, supported, challenged, and given room to grow , we want to hear from you.

Even if you’re currently employed and just curious about what else is out there, reach out.

Your application and conversation with All Star Plumbing & Air will be kept confidential. We respect the privacy of currently employed candidates exploring new opportunities.
