Commercial HVAC Duct Mechanic / Installer
Nature Air Corp is seeking experienced HVAC duct mechanics/installers for ongoing commercial construction projects throughout South Florida. We are looking for dependable duct work mechanics who take pride in their work and can perform & execute commercial duct work installation independently.
Responsibilities- Read mechanical plans and duct layouts
- Install fiberglass, sheet-metal and spiral duct systems
- Install supply, return, and exhaust/intake O/A ductwork
- Install hangers, supports, dampers, diffusers and grilles
- Lay out duct runs and identify required fittings
- Coordinate field conditions with the project supervisor
- Maintain clean, professional installations
- Work safely and productively with helpers and other mechanics
- Commercial HVAC/ductwork experience
- Able to read a tape measure accurately
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Own HVAC/ductwork tools
- Comfortable reading mechanical plans
- Able to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance
- Professional attitude
- Ability to lead a helper is a plus
