Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience and be confident diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide variety of residential and commercial HVAC systems.

Our technicians work in both high-end residential homes and commercial properties , so professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and respect for our customers' homes and businesses are essential.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. VRF system experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems

• Service and repair air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, air handlers, and related HVAC equipment

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant-related issues

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and system inspections

• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, controls, and wiring

• Test refrigerant piping and connections for leaks

• Test electrical circuits and components using appropriate diagnostic equipment

• Properly recover, charge, and handle refrigerants in accordance with EPA requirements

• Identify system issues and clearly communicate recommended repairs and solutions to customers

• Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner

• Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle and work area

• Handle emergency service calls when required

• Build strong customer relationships and provide a high level of customer service

• Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC service technician experience required
  
  
• EPA Certification required
  
  
• VRF system experience preferred
  
  
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Experience servicing residential and commercial HVAC equipment

• Experience with heat pumps, mini-splits, air handlers, and related systems

• Experience with chillers and geothermal systems is a plus

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Professional appearance and attitude, especially when working in high-end residences

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Ability to climb ladders, work in attics and confined spaces, and lift at least 40 pounds

• Experience with Housecall Pro preferred
