Staff RN - Neuro Critical Care, Riverside, Part time, nights

Job Description Summary Provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum in diverse, acute settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel according to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The RN performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, participates in multidisciplinary teams, and contributes to process improvement and clinical quality. Responsibilities and Duties Assessment/Diagnosis: Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments to determine patient needs (30%). Outcomes Identification & Planning: Documents planned interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve patient outcomes (30%). Implementation & Evaluation: Evaluates and documents response to interventions, revises plans of care based on evaluative data (20%). Leadership: Participates in process improvement activities to meet clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance targets (10%). Operations: Focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency in line with High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles (10%). Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or a multi‑state compact state in good standing. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. BSN required after 5 years of employment. Work Shift & Hours Night shift, scheduled weekly hours: 24 hours. Department: Neuro Critical Care Unit1.
