Senior Accountant (JN -072026-425798) Towson, Maryland Salary: USD85000 - USD95000 per year A well-established family office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. This role will focus primarily on general ledger accounting, investment account reconciliations, and tax preparation support. For most of the year, responsibilities will center around maintaining the general ledger, reconciling investment accounts, and preparing journal entries related to investment activity such as dividends and other income. During the spring and fall tax seasons, the role will support the preparation and review of tax returns. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, think critically, and take ownership of accounting processes. Responsibilities Reconcile investment and brokerage accounts Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger Record investment activity including dividends and other income Maintain accurate financial records and account reconciliations Assist with the preparation and review of tax returns Support month end and year end accounting activities Analyze financial information and resolve discrepancies Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience Understanding of tax returns and tax preparation Ability to work independently and manage priorities Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Ledgent-Finance-
