Responsibilities
- Provide standard respiratory care to patients, including ventilator management, aerosolized therapies, and airway clearance techniques as prescribed
- Monitor patient responses to therapies, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Perform equipment checks, troubleshoot devices, and ensure proper infection control and safety procedures
- Record interventions and communicate changes to physicians, nurses, and unit staff
- Educate patients and families on therapies and discharge planning as appropriate
- Participate in rounds and contribute to patient progress notes and care planning

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license from the Georgia Composite Medical Board
- NBRC - RRT credential
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the respiratory care specialty
- Ability to work in a hospital-setting environment and adapt to a 12-hour shift pattern
