Job Summary Assemble and test medical devices in a cleanroom environment. Work with small parts using microscopes for most of the shift. Key Responsibilities Follow detailed assembly instructions and SOPs Use microscopes, hand tools, calipers, and micrometers Perform visual inspection of small components Report quality or process issues Maintain a clean and safe workspace Support team training and production needs (including overtime) Essential Skills 6+ months of small part assembly with microscope Ability to work under a microscope ~90% of the time Strong attention to detail and precision Good communication skills High school diploma or equivalent Willingness to work in a cleanroom and on 2nd shift with overtime Preferred Qualifications 1–2+ years medical device or cleanroom experience Experience with catheters or similar components Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments Work Environment 2nd shift (starting around 3:30–3:45 PM) Cleanroom, high-volume production setting Long‑term contract (12–18 months) Requires overtime and occasional Saturday work Why Join Work on life‑saving medical devices Supportive and growth‑focused environment Stable hours and valuable industry experience Perks like weekly catered lunch Job Type & Location This is a contract position based out of Irvine, CA. It is a fully onsite role. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
