Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a surgical technician to support the operating room team with essential preoperative and intraoperative duties. This role involves direct patient care, equipment management, and collaboration with surgical staff to ensure smooth procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff by preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Monitor and support patient positioning and comfort during surgery.
• Manage surgical supplies, ensuring availability and proper handling.
• Document procedures, specimens, and equipment usage accurately.
• Respond promptly to requests from surgical team members to facilitate efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification as a surgical technologist or equivalent credential.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
• Possess strong attention to detail and adherence to sterile techniques.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments.
• Be able to work flexible hours, including call shifts.
• Have prior experience in a surgical setting preferred.
