Work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians in our thriving Cardiology Clinic located in Southwest Beaverton. Each patient receives the highest value care tailored to their needs. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this phone-based role include: Primarily responsible for efficient physician scheduling and patient access by properly scheduling and rescheduling patients’ surgeries and/or appointments according to all office protocols and physician requests in an efficient and timely manner. Work directly with the surgeons and hospital, obtaining and completing insurance information, completing required documentation, and maintaining accurate patient records. Manage front office operations, including answering multi-line phones, processing medical records requests, and providing patient support and information. Demonstrate excellent attendance, strong organizational skills, effective multitasking, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced office environment. Other duties and administrative tasks as assigned. Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: Level I: $19.59 - $26.51 per hour. Level II: $21.55 - $29.16 per hour. Level III: $23.71 - $32.07 per hour. Workdays: This role will be located in The Oregon Clinic Creekside Pavilion. Typical hours are Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm). Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including: Minimum of three (3) years of previous medical front office experience is required. Specialty care Cardiology experience is a plus! Minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in Surgery or other complex scheduling is preferred. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) EPIC experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures. Familiarity with insurance requirements and referral processes. Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask. Excellent phone skills and customer service skills. Excellent attendance and work ethic. Positive attitude and desire to be a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
