You will work alongside a collaborative team of patient‑focused colleagues and physicians in our thriving Broadway Medical Clinic in Northeast Portland, ensuring that every patient receives high‑value, personalized care. Responsibilities Check in and out new and established patients. Promote efficient physician scheduling and patient access by scheduling and rescheduling appointments promptly and in accordance with office protocols and physician requests. Obtain and complete insurance information. Answer phones on a multi‑line system. Process incoming and outgoing referrals and electronic fax submissions. Update registration and EMR records as needed. Manage multiple work queues (pre‑registration, appointment requests, and referrals). Communicate effectively with clinical teams to ensure patients are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation Level I: $19.59 – $26.51 per hour. Level II: $21.55 – $29.16 per hour. Level III: $23.71 – $32.07 per hour. Workdays This role is located at the Broadway Medical Clinic in Northeast Portland. Typical hours are 32 per week, Monday‑Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm), with a weekday off TBD. A half‑day commitment on Saturday (7:30 am – 12:30 pm) will be needed approximately once every two months. Qualifications Minimum of one year of medical front‑office experience. Experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, internal medicine, dermatology, or adult behavioral health is a plus. Prior EMR experience is preferred; Epic experience is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures. Familiarity with insurance requirements and referral processes. Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and multitask effectively. Excellent phone and customer service skills. Excellent attendance and work ethic.
