Interventional Radiology Technologist - Travel Job

IR Tech Opportunity

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You'll be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of IR Tech experience with references
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Graduate from AMA approved accredited Radiologic Technologist programs
• BLS certification
• State license
• Traveler experience required
• Experience with Interventional Radiology and Special Procedures
• Experience maintaining equipment and stocking supplies
• Experience with angioplasty, chest tube placement, embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, inferior vena cava (IVC) filter placement, liver biopsy, mesenteric angiogram, stent placement, thoracentesis, catheter/drain exchange, cystoscopy, gastrostomy, internal/external biliary drainage, nephrostomy, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, and central venous access/port placement
• Experience accessing and managing ports, central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC lines), central venous lines care and maintenance, PICC lines care and maintenance, and fluoroscopy
• Experience with accurate monitoring, equipment set up, prep access site, room circulator duties, maintaining a sterile field, isolation precautions, and use of rapid response/code teams

• 4x10-hour schedule
• Shift hours: 06:30 - 17:00
