Trade Operations AssociateGeode Capital Management, LLC is seeking an experienced Trade Operations Associate to support tactical initiatives and daily responsibilities of the Operations business unit. This role is based in our office in Boston, Massachusetts. You are required to follow the firm's policy on in-office attendance. Our current policy requires in-office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and then provides an option to work remotely on Monday and Friday. Please note that Geode may alter this policy at any time.Role and Responsibilities:Work closely with portfolio management, compliance, and trading teams to support day-to-day trading and investment operationsProcess voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, review event details, request elections, and follow up to meet deadlinesReconcile elections, expected cash and security proceeds, and dividend payments; investigate and resolve discrepanciesSupport daily cash and ETF operations, including cash and position reconciliations and creation/redemption activityProduce timely and accurate metrics and other analytical reporting for portfolio management, trading, as well as other internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the trade operations teamAdhere to Geode's operational policies and practices, in addition to established processing controls and proceduresSkills You Bring:Bachelor's degree Business, Finance or a relevant field3+ years of corporate action experience, including voluntary and mandatory events, elections, and dividend reconciliationAbility to understand corporate action terms, determine expected entitlements, and manage election deadlines and follow-upExperience with cash and position reconciliation; ETF operations experience preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and operational riskStrong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently and collaborativelyProficiency in Excel; experience with macros, database queries, and reporting preferredExperience with SimCorp Dimension preferred; Bloomberg and SQL a plusFlexibility to work a rotating evening scheduleCompany Overview:Founded in 2001, Geode is headquartered in Boston's financial district, the center of one of the world's most vibrant finance and technology hubs and employs approximately 200 employees.
