Recruiting Manager

Lead end-to-end recruiting for non-union, early-career, and recurring talent needs across multiple operating companies from an onsite Omaha base. Responsibilities Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and create practical sourcing strategies Own hands-on recruiting and sourcing for assigned non-union roles across operating companies Support field and union workforce needs by increasing awareness of skilled trades and building partnerships that connect people to careers Proactively source and engage candidates using channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter , Indeed , Handshake , referrals, industry relationships, and additional sourcing options Build talent pipelines for recurring , hard-to-fill , and future hiring needs Provide hiring leaders market insight and practical guidance during recruiting and selection Oversee SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting from a business and candidate-experience perspective, supporting recruiting, tracking, compliance, and reporting in partnership with the HRIS leader Improve the candidate journey by making applying, interviewing, and joining more accessible and engaging Maintain and enhance job postings, recruiting workflows, candidate communications, interview materials, and reporting Partner with HRIS to troubleshoot recruiting system issues and improve recruiting technology and processes Use recruiting data and market feedback to evaluate what is working and where adjustments are needed Equip hiring teams with training, tools, and resources for fair, consistent hiring and a strong candidate experience Lead college, internship, and early-career recruiting across the organization Build relationships with colleges, universities, construction management programs, faculty, student organizations, and career centers Manage Handshake and coordinate career fairs, campus visits, recruiting events, and other early-career outreach Coordinate with operating companies to understand internship and entry-level hiring needs and develop campus talent pipelines Help shape internship and early-career experiences designed to sustain candidate interest in building careers Partner with Marketing and operating companies to support recruiting content and share authentic career stories through relevant channels Develop relationships with schools, industry organizations, union partners, and community partners to expand awareness of specialty construction, the skilled trades, and related career opportunities Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience with strong hands‑on sourcing Construction industry recruiting experience is preferred College recruiting, internship, or early‑career program experience is required; leadership experience is preferred Experience supporting recruiting across multiple businesses or geographic markets Strong interest in building and improving recruiting programs and processes, with willingness to test new approaches Experience creating sourcing strategies and building proactive candidate pipelines Sourcing proficiency with hands‑on experience using LinkedIn Recruiter , Indeed , Handshake , and other recruiting sources/platforms Applicant tracking system (ATS) experience managing recruiting processes, candidate communications, tracking, and reporting SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting or similar ATS/HRIS platform experience is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for connecting with diverse audiences Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with hiring leaders across different businesses and locations Ability to work in office in Omaha, Nebraska and travel approximately 25–30% , with heavier travel during college recruiting seasons Technologies SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Applicant tracking system (ATS) LinkedIn Recruiter Indeed Handshake Microsoft Office Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage HSA and FSA options Company‑paid life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan PTO and paid sick leave Student loan payback program Volunteer time‑off Employee profit sharing Additional programs designed to support the well‑being of employees and their families Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite) | Omaha, Nebraska (68138) Reports to: Director of Human Resources Travel: Approximately 25–30% annually; focused spring and fall college recruiting seasons Nearest major market: Omaha Nearest secondary market: Council Bluffs #J-18808-Ljbffr CDM Service Group, Inc.
