How you’ll make an impact in this role
Payer Advocacy & Partnership: Build strong relationships with insurance companies through proactive communication to track outstanding professional fee claims, resolve complex claim denials, and secure accurate reimbursements.
Revenue Pipeline Management: Take ownership of Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports, utilizing data-driven insights to minimize payment delays and accelerate overall claim resolutions.
Strategic Appeals Optimization: Analyze denial root causes to construct persuasive appeals, submit accurate corrected claims, and implement preventative measures against future rejections.
Compliance & Excellence: Maintain the highest standards of integrity by aligning all billing, coding, and submission workflows with evolving payer guidelines and organizational compliance policies.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional preferences we're seeking
1+ years experience with professional billing experience in healthcare
Experience with insurance appeals and denials
Knowledge of CPT codes
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
