Chérie Amour is looking for an Admin & Finance Manager to join our team. Our office is located in the heart of downtown Pullman, home of the WSU Cougars.We are looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing business performance, solving problems, and helping a growing company make informed financial decisions.This position will oversee the company's accounting and financial activities while working closely with company leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and comfortable balancing day-to-day accounting responsibilities with larger financial projects and planning.Responsibilities And GoalsOversee the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations.Maintain accurate and organized financial records.Manage general accounting activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.Assist with monthly and year-end accounting processes.Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.Monitor financial performance and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and other key areas of business performance.Provide financial insight and reporting to company leadership.Oversee accounts payable and company payment processes.Assist with payroll and related financial activities.Oversee applicable tax reporting and financial compliance requirements.Maintain accounting procedures, documentation, and internal controls.Work with outside vendors, financial institutions, accountants, and other business partners.Research and resolve accounting and financial discrepancies.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.Assist leadership with financial and operational projects as needed.Experience And RequirementsPrevious professional accounting, finance, or similar experience.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience with accounting software.Strong Excel and computer skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle confidential financial and business information appropriately.Preferred, but not required:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Multi-state business or tax experience.Experience working with a growing or multi-location business.You'll love this job, if...You enjoy working with numbers and understanding what they mean for the business.You naturally notice when something doesn't look right and enjoy figuring out why.You're organized and enjoy creating processes that make things easier and more efficient.You enjoy both detailed work and looking at the bigger picture.You like solving problems and finding solutions.You're comfortable taking ownership of your work and responsibilities.You enjoy learning and aren't afraid of tackling something you haven't encountered before.You bring solutions to the table, not just problems.You're comfortable with a little chaos and uncertainty.
