General Manager

We are hiring the General Manager for an independently owned and operated franchisee restaurant. This franchise uses McDonald’s trademarks and menu items but is a separate employer and retains all employment responsibilities. Only the franchisee will handle hiring, discipline, scheduling, and other employment matters, and does not share applicant information with McDonald’s USA. Description The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) standards. The GM works with the retail leader to set restaurant goals and develops plans to achieve them. The GM leads a team of Department Managers, sets their goals, monitors progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve departmental performance. The GM may also hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future leadership team. Requirements Previous General Manager experience running high-volume food service locations. Strong background in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to manage multiple departments and drive results. Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills. Ability to create and execute operational plans that maximize profitability and enhance customer experience. Additional Info Starting pay: $49,000 per year. Two weeks paid vacation.
