Nurse Manager - Heart Transplant and VAD Clinic

Lead a team that changes lives every day! We are hiring a Nurse Manager for our Heart Transplant and VAD clinic. Responsibilities Responsible for approximately 30 staff members, including hiring, training, staff scheduling, performance review, and management. Work directly with providers for clinical support. Accountable for development, implementation, and evaluation of care provided in the clinic consistent with the strategic plan goals and objectives for patient‑centered care. Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify areas of improvement regarding practice policies and processes. Support optimal care that requires specialized knowledge, critical thinking and skills based on principles of psychological, social, physical and biological sciences that utilize the nursing processes. Drive employee engagement and retention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to exceed patient expectations in a patient‑centered and healing environment. Maintain all clinical competencies if required due to the size and structure of the clinic, and may occasionally be counted in staffing. Qualifications BSN required. 2 years applicable experience as a registered nurse. 2–3 years of managing a physician practice or ambulatory nursing practice preferred. Transplant experience preferred. Prior cardiac experience as an RN strongly preferred. Prior management experience strongly preferred. Job Details Full Time, Day shift (M‑F 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) with flexibility required.
