Job Summary and Qualifications

Operates Ultrasound imaging equipment to produce images of patient’s body for diagnostic purposes and assist physicians with procedures in sterile environment. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Education: High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
• Clinical hours in accredited program required to pass RDMS Registry for Ultrasound Abdomen.
• Must attain abdomen registry within 90 days of hire.
• Registry Eligible for Ultrasound Abdomen registry. 
• Must attain Abdomen registry within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS required upon hire (AHA or Red Cross) or within 30days of your date of hire.
• Experience: 3-6 Months Full Time Ultrasound Clinical Experience. Two Years Experience Preferred.
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (ARRT-VI) Vascular Interventional Radiography

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is a 350-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services. It is known for its 24/7 emergency care, Level II Trauma Center, Burn Center, advanced heart care, and Baby-Friendly maternity services.
