Plasma Care Technician

This role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours a day, 3 or more days per week, designed to fit your life. We will confirm your availability and shift days early in the interview process and keep you informed of any schedule changes in advance. Our patients depend on the plasma we collect, so your reliability during scheduled hours is greatly valued. Responsibilities Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety. Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures. Serve donors across a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. routinely and occasionally lift materials up to 32 lbs. (rarely 50 lbs.). Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Knowledge of risk level 1 exposure to bloodborne pathogens; prolonged glove wear required for 90% of tasks. Minimum of one year experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.
