Account Supervisor

Intertrend Communications is a leading multicultural advertising and marketing communications agency that targets the Asian American community. About the Role We're looking for an Account Supervisor to help lead the business, with a focus on Toyota's Asian campaigns, as well as supporting agency new business initiatives. This is a mid-level role for someone with solid agency and marketing experience and a startup mentality. The Account Supervisor is a relationship builder, business steward, opportunity creator, and integration driver. They will lead the team in developing strategic ideas, integrated plans, production, and execution. Foster and grow strong internal relationships and agency culture, as well as build strong, strategic relationships with clients. Responsibilities Serve as the account lead for assigned client initiatives, working alongside cross-functional teams, including Strategy, Creative, Media, Engagement and Social. Partner with cross-functional team members to develop and execute integrated campaigns and programs, taking initiative to move projects forward. Build relationships with Toyota client stakeholders and rapport with agency partners; maintain the highest level of client satisfaction and respect for the agency. Guide and mentor Account Executives/Associate Account Executives, helping build a strong, self-sufficient account team. Own day-to-day management of assigned accounts and projects, ensuring successful, on-time, on-budget delivery. Work with account leadership to understand client budgeting, maximize agency profitability, and proactively identify opportunities to upsell incremental scope for additional billings. Maintain a smooth work process between the Plano (TX) and Long Beach (CA) offices to ensure consistently high-quality collaboration and execution. Proactively present and contribute during client and agency partner meetings - over-communicating context, not just decisions, so the whole team stays aligned. Continue to infuse Asian cultural fluency and relevance into all work, from brief through campaign ideas and platform execution, specifically for Toyota's Asian-audience initiatives. Bring an adaptable, inquisitive, and enterprising ("startup") mindset to solving problems and staying flexible as the account's needs evolve. Think holistically about the agency's business; look for ways to elevate Intertrend's capability and reputation among clients and agency partners. Qualifications 3-5 years of advertising or marketing experience, preferably in an advertising agency; automotive and/or multicultural marketing experience a plus. Experience and passion for Asian American communities and insights — able to bring an authentic cultural point of view to agency work. Demonstrated success managing integrated advertising or marketing programs within a cross-functional team setting. Comfortable operating with less process and more ambiguity; takes initiative and moves projects forward. Strong project management skills, knowledge of the creative production process, and understanding of the media and consumer landscape. Demonstrated leadership working with cross-functional partners and training/guiding junior team members on day-to-day work. Strong communication skills (written, oral/public speaking), presentation, and research skills. Strong relationship-building skills across multiple layers of clients and agency partners. An adaptable & inquisitive mindset, a startup mentality, and a genuine investment in cultural fluency & relationships. Required Skills Ability to read, comprehend, and write a full range of instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to present information effectively in small and large group situations to customers, clients, members of senior management, and other employees of the organization. Preferred Skills Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes involved written or oral instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Location Primarily based in Intertrend's Plano, TX office, with regular collaboration with the Long Beach, CA headquarters team. Normal office environment.
