Sandata Billing Analyst

Location: Hybrid (NY, NY) Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Arrangement: In-office Monday-Wednesday, Remote Thursday-Friday Our Client is seeking an experienced Home Care Billing & Systems Specialist to support billing operations, reporting, compliance, and data management activities within our Home Care Services division. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert for the Sandata system and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, regulatory reporting, and operational support. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with Sandata, home care billing processes, and advanced reporting and analytics. This individual should be able to contribute immediately with minimal training and provide ongoing support as JASA transitions from Sandata to HHA Exchange. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for the Sandata EVV and billing platform. Support home care billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate billing submissions. Generate, analyze, and maintain billing, compliance, and operational reports. Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies, claim issues, and data integrity concerns. Assist with regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with state and payer requirements. Provide operational support and respond to inquiries related to billing, reporting, and system functionality. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, process improvements, and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Home Care leadership. Support system implementations, enhancements, and data validation efforts related to the transition from Sandata to HHA Exchange. Develop and maintain documentation, reporting procedures, and best practices. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in home care billing, healthcare billing, or a related operational support role. Strong hands‑on experience with Sandata. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: PivotTables

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

Data analysis and reporting Complex formulas and data validation Experience generating and interpreting operational and financial reports. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with HHA Exchange (HHAeXchange). Knowledge of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems. Familiarity with Medicaid, managed care, and home care billing regulations. Experience supporting system conversions or implementation projects.
