As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Inspection in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and/or logs. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least two years of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
