Operations Supervisor

Randstad is currently working with a Logistics and Transportation company that is hiring an Operations Supervisor for their faciltiy in Auburn, ME.  This is a Permanent position with our client.  Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment. 
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation industry. 
• Experience with Vendor and Client relations. 
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems. 

salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities .
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures.
• Guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor and maintain availability of materials, tools and supplies. 
• Ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs.
• Oversee the usage of equipment. 
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation. 
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity.
