Desired Skills and Experience: Holds current certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience working with kindergarten-aged children, preferably in a high school or school-based setting Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with families, staff, and students Previous case management experience is valued Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized instruction and support to a kindergarten-aged student within the high school Serve as Case Managermonitoring progress, coordinating services, and updating IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support academic and social development Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and program compliance Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment Youll enjoy consistent part-time hours2 to 3 days per weekwhile making a significant impact in a students educational journey.
