Position Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU or Telemetry, Per Diem Role Overview Provide high-quality, safe patient care in an acute-care hospital setting. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams. Maintain accurate electronic medical records, follow safety protocols, and educate patients and families. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality care in ICU or telemetry units Monitor cardiac rhythms and use specialized equipment Assess, respond to, and document patient responses Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Follow hospital policies, infection-control, and safety standards Educate patients and families about care plans and discharges Qualifications & Skills Active Virginia RN license Minimum of one year recent ICU or telemetry experience within the past two years Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months) COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption Additional Info Flexibility in scheduling, competitive pay, and support from a dedicated staffing team.
