We are changing the world with: Trusted products that accelerate drug discovery, development, and delivery to save livesDamage-resistant cover glass to enhance the devices that keep us connectedOptical fiber, wireless technologies, and connectivity solutions to carry information and ideas at the speed of lightPrecision glass for advanced displays to deliver richer experiences Auto glass and ceramics to drive cleaner, safer, and smarter transportation Solar polysilicon, wafers, and innovative photovoltaic modules, enabling low-cost solar energy solutionsScope of Position:• Lead execution of operating plan to meet manufacturing and commercial objectives.• Direct production operations and coordinate with engineering and other staff functions to achieve plant cost, quality, and service objectives while meeting all safety, health, and environmental requirements.Job Responsibilities:• Assist in the development of an operating plan aligned with division, business, and manufacturing strategies to meet key performance objectives.• Assure manufacturing capability and performance improvement in support of division, business, and manufacturing strategies.• Provide focus and direction to plant personnel to assure knowledge and support of plant manufacturing priorities and requirements.• Maintain and assure efficient operation of all plant assets and equipment.• Meet all safety and environmental regulatory requirements. Create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.• Assure growth in talent and capability of the plant operations staff.• Build effective relationships within the business, plant staff groups, and with key customers and suppliers where required.• Champion Lean and other corporate manufacturing initiatives as required.• Other responsibilities may be included to support the business.Required Education and Experience:• Bachelors degree required; B.S in Engineering preferred• Progressive responsibilities in operations and/or engineering leadership, including operations, supply chain or engineering department management experience.• Experience in leading teams and departments in meeting continuous improvement goals, step change performance improvements, innovation, expanding technical capability, work redesign or other change efforts.• Experience coordinating activities within functional responsibility and collaborating with other groups to achieve results.• Demonstrated track record of growing talent.Other desired experiences:• Experience with multiple manufacturing processes and systems.• Experience in staff or project roles such as Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a high impact project assignments.• Exposure to global manufacturing and business through work or project assignments• Exposure to and understanding of the corporate network and resources.Travel Requirements:• MinimalHours of work/work schedule:• Full time (40 hours per week) and adaptable in support of 24/7 operationsThis position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $126,334.00 - $173,710.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
