Medical Assistant Opportunity
Our client, a healthcare company, is looking for a medical assistant for their Seattle, WA location.
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is required; cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT).
- Experience: 1 year of experience working as an MA-C in an adult outpatient clinic setting.
- Skills required:
- Vital signs
- Hearing screening
- Obtain vital signs
- Vision testing
- Prepare for exam
- Record history/medications/allergies
- Set up and assist with procedures
- Nebulizer treatments
- Injections
- Immunizations
- Specimen collection
- Labeling of specimens
- Throat
- Urine - UA/clean catch
- Venipuncture
- Laboratory tests
- Blood glucose via glucometer
- Office duties
- Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
- Telephone triage
- Years of experience: 1 year(s)
- Certifications: BLS
