IP Trademark Docket Specialist

Position Overview Trademark Docket Specialist – Trademark & Copyright Practice Group (Trademark Support Unit), reporting to the Manager of Trademark Portfolio Services. Locations Washington, D.C.; Boston; New York; Houston; Philadelphia; Orange County, CA; San Francisco; Silicon Valley, CA; Seattle; Chicago. Hybrid in‑office/remote working schedule. Responsibilities Monitor, review and extract information from trademark offices, local counsel, staff and clients worldwide for entry into the docketing database. Identify and communicate pertinent deadlines to lawyers and paralegals on a daily basis. Work with attorneys and paralegals to ensure all deadlines are satisfied by assessing correspondence and proof of filings. Program, run, print and distribute docket reports to attorneys and staff. Assist with the intake of new trademark portfolios. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; post‑high school education and experience with CPI preferred. At least two years of trademark docketing experience. Excellent written and oral communication, strong proofreading skills, exceptional attention to detail. Time‑management and organizational skills to prioritize work. Self‑starter with a professional demeanor, able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, familiarity using a CRM system, and ability to adapt to new software programs. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $62,000–$112,093 depending on location and experience. Annual discretionary bonus eligibility. 401(k) plan with employer contributions.
