Retail Supervising Pharmacist - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania

A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail pharmacy setting in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations, collaborate with store management, and drive business growth while ensuring exceptional customer service and regulatory compliance.


Schedule & Hours:

• 62 hours bi-weekly
• Variable day/afternoon shifts
• 10-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• 11-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts: either 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Maintain collaborative relationships with store operations and communicate company strategy to pharmacy staff
• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions by performing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Manage the pharmacy to build profitability and grow script volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Monitor inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical products to meet customer needs and maximize profits
• Align department performance with key metrics for effectiveness and efficiency
• Deliver excellent customer service including healthcare counseling and resolving customer issues
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; provide training, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed
• Maintain pharmacy security and compliance
• Collaborate with physicians to resolve prescription-related issues
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and facilitate ongoing training to improve staff performance and reduce turnover
• Prioritize and complete tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls timely

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Experience in retail pharmacy management and Rx operations preferred
