Retail Supervising Pharmacist - Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy location in Mifflinburg, PA is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager for a direct hire opportunity. Schedule/Hours:

• 62 hours bi-weekly
• Shifts vary between 10 to 12 hours: typically 9am-7pm (10-hour), 9am-8pm (11-hour), or 8am-8pm / 9am-9pm (12-hour)
• Variable day/afternoon shifts

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, fostering associate engagement and communicating departmental strategies
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of prescriptions, conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and quality assurance activities per state and federal regulations
• Manage the department's profitability by promoting clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Collaborate with district management to monitor inventory and sales trends to meet customer demand and maximize profits
• Oversee pharmacy staff including direction, training, coaching, and discipline
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and build long-term trust and loyalty
• Maintain pharmacy security and ensure the department is clean and organized
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and will-call processing
• Regularly review ongoing training and development to improve performance and control labor costs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
