SUMMARY: Ensures the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, machinery, and lighting through routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Troubleshoot and fix industrial equipment and facility electricals systems.

•Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, components (transformers, circuit breakers), and wiring to identify hazards or wear before failure.

•Install new machinery, electrical equipment, wiring, conduit, lighting, electrical infrastructure, and control panels.

•Adhere to strict safety standards and local/national electrical codes.

•Work with PLCs, automated systems, and high-voltage power systems.

•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.

•Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (Limbal) to document work performed, materials used, and repairs made.

•Assist in design, support, assembly, and building electrical components for prototype and production equipment including starter panels, joystick boxes, junction boxes, timer boxes, and others.

•Maintains a clean, safe working environment.

•Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Five+ years related experience or equivalent.

•Knowledge of electrical and industrial maintenance.

•Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather.

•Commitment to excellence and high standards.

•Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

•Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

•Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.

•Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

•OSHA-30 and/or NFPA 70E certificate of completion desired.

•Frequently work near moving mechanical parts.

•Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.

•Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions.

•Occasionally exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather).

•Frequently/ loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing, large earth-moving equipment).
