We are actively looking for a Foundry Laborer. As a member of the Fulmer/Perma-Cast group, you will be responsible for assisting in the foundry and making parts for customers. Job Description Proper Setup and Safe operation of hot metal molds. Utilizes Foundry principles of metal melting, pouring (ladling), solidifying and familiar with proper handling opening and closing of hot metal (permanent molds or others). Inspection of work. The duties listed are not set forth to limit the assignment of work; responsibilities may vary. See Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for further details. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision. Training and/or experience using Foundry hot metal Molds including Furnace(s) apparatus is preferred. Minimum 3‑6 months on the job training under close supervision. Additional Information The salary rate for this role is currently $19.00 per hour. The actual salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location.
