Qualified candidates will be considered for employment upon contract award.About the OpportunityJoin a collaborative outpatient/ambulatory care team as an LPN/LVN, providing direct patient care to active-duty service members, retirees, and their families under the direction of RNs and providers.ScheduleFull-TimeMonday–Friday9-hour shifts, duty hours 0730–163060-minute unpaid lunchNot to exceed 40 hours per weekNo on-callResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice under RN or provider supervisionObtain vital signs, perform basic clinical assessments, and assist with proceduresAdminister medications and treatments as ordered and within scope of practiceProvide patient education on treatment plans and preventive careSupport clinic flow and coordination across the outpatient/ambulatory care teamDocument patient care accurately within the electronic medical recordMinimum QualificationsU.S. Citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual otherwise authorized to work in the United StatesCertificate - State Board-approved LPN/LVN program or equivalent military trainingCurrent, full, active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of ColumbiaCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain)Able to pass a Tier 1 (or higher) background investigation for facility and network access1 year experience within the last 2 years as practical/vocational nursePreferred QualificationsPrior experience in an outpatient, ambulatory, or primary care clinic settingExperience with military or federal healthcare beneficiary populationsStrong patient education and teamwork skillsWhy GiaCare?GiaCare is dedicated to supporting our nation's military by connecting exceptional healthcare professionals with military treatment facilities throughout the United States.
