DevSecOps Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a DevSecOps Software Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to join our Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) software team in Hazelwood, MO. This position in the Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization will primarily support Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Air Dominance programs. Position Responsibilities Develop, document, and maintain standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls. Analyze, plan, and execute mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Implement an environment that enables high levels of quality, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization. Support collaboration with cross‑functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems. Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the software engineering DevSecOps environment. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree. Ability to obtain U.S. Secret (Interim Pre‑Start) clearance, which the U.S. government requires. U.S. Citizenship. 5+ years of experience with CI/CD and configuration management with release processes. 2+ years of experience developing and managing metrics. Preferred Qualifications Level 4: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree and 13+ years of directly related work experience, OR 17+ years of related, relevant experience. Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP). 2+ years of experience working with agile teams and agile software development. Cloud Service Provider official certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solution Architect). Secret Security Clearance – Final Post‑Start and Special Program Access. Experience in government or military programs and regulatory/compliance standard familiarity. Pay & Benefits Pay Range – Experienced (Level 3): $112,200 – $151,800. Pay Range – Senior (Level 4): $136,850 – $185,150. Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
