Salary: $142,000 - 194,000 per year Requirements:

• We lead the development, implementation, and architectural evolution of scalable distributed-system components, including distributed state-management tools.

• We design for elastic capacity so systems can scale up and down efficiently with demand.

• We design durable systems that meet service-level objectives and set clear availability and durability expectations for dependent services.
• We define key performance indicators and telemetry that expose gaps and issues in production systems.
• We build dashboards, telemetry pipelines, and alerting to proactively monitor component and system health.
• We design and implement functional and correctness requirements for new and existing features and systems.
• We create advanced test scenarios, including fault-injection and brownout testing, to validate correctness.
• We implement data replication and synchronization methods that preserve integrity and availability.
• We proactively diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in live systems and mentor others in effective troubleshooting.
• We resolve issues in ways that avoid customer maintenance windows and minimize service disruption.
• We maintain deep expertise in owned systems to support troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• We meet operational-readiness expectations through strong design and implementation.
• We participate in operational support rotations and lead incident response and root-cause investigations.
• We implement security controls for multi-tenant environments, including encryption and access controls.
• We execute remediation plans to close security gaps.
• We ensure cloud infrastructure complies with relevant industry standards and regulations, with current supporting documentation.
• We develop and maintain automation tools and infrastructure as code to manage cloud infrastructure.
• We create and follow change-management plans for patching, updates, and rollbacks, and design systems that increasingly automate these processes.
• We manage and coordinate moderately complex work, tracking timelines and deliverables to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
• We delegate, prioritize, and provide technical oversight across multiple projects as resourcing or timelines change.
• We collaborate across the organization to align expectations and achieve shared goals.
• We analyze data and information to solve moderately complex issues using sound engineering practices.
