Sales Trainer

As a Sales Process Coach at HELP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our salesforce and ensuring the delivery of top‑notch services to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Training: Conduct sales process training in a classroom setting, working with groups of 1-10 individuals across both dedicated sales and mixed technician/sales roles.
• On-Site Coaching: Ride with salespeople and technicians during customer visits, demonstrating techniques, and assisting in managing complex customer interactions.
• Constant Mentorship: Teach new and existing employees about key steps of the sale process, how to overcome objectives, ethical sales practices, and the value of premium customer service and sales experience.
• Curriculum Development: Design and build class materials and curriculum to ensure sales team members are well‑prepared to succeed.
• Systematic Teaching: Equip sales professionals with the skills to navigate a systematic sales process, providing hands‑on coaching to drive success.

Key Projects

In your first year as a Sales Process Coach, you'll focus on:

• Initial Training: 60‑90 days, shadowing different trainers as they conduct sales training at various locations. Afterward, lead training sessions independently at HELP in Cincinnati.
• Curriculum Enhancement: Continually improve the training curriculum, incorporating role‑playing exercises, capability assessments, and field observations.
• Change Management: Lead change initiatives, promote standardization, and subtly influence compliance to achieve buy‑in.
• Team Alignment: Collaborate effectively with other teams, foster teamwork, and ensure alignment between sales and business development.

Qualifications

• Industry Experience: 5+ years of residential HVAC or plumbing sales experience.
• Teaching Experience: Proven experience teaching and instructing groups, as well as one‑on‑one interactions.
• Sales Process Training: Demonstrated experience providing sales process training, ideally in a multi‑location, corporate or national setting. Familiar with home‑services membership programs, consumer financing programs, sale of system change‑out/upgrade packages, and other residential sales enhancement techniques.
• Business Development: Understanding business development, particularly in generating qualified leads.
• Technology: Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Suite and various development tools, to enhance training effectiveness and engagement. Familiar with Service Titan or similar home‑services tools.
• Public Speaking: Confident and engaging public speaker who can lead and inspire others in both a classroom setting and in one‑on‑one scenarios with technicians, salespeople, or homeowners.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD
