Hospital Administrator | New SPEC/ER Veterinary Hospital - North Carolina An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced veterinary leader to join a brand-new Specialty & Emergency hospital scheduled to open in November 2026 . This state-of-the-art facility has been purpose-built to support exceptional patient care and long-term growth. Launching with a team of 7 veterinarians across Emergency and Surgery , the hospital will span 20,000+ sq. ft. , creating significant capacity for future service expansion, team growth, and the addition of specialty departments over time. This role offers the rare opportunity to help shape a hospital from the ground up. Working closely with the medical leadership team, the Hospital Administrator will be responsible for driving operational excellence, building a high-performing culture, and establishing the systems, processes, and team structure required to support a successful launch and sustained growth. What You'll Be Responsible For Leading all non-clinical hospital operations Recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team Partnering closely with veterinary leadership to align operational and medical objectives Establishing scalable workflows, processes, and performance standards Managing hospital financial performance, budgeting, and key business metrics Delivering an exceptional client and employee experience Supporting future growth initiatives as the hospital expands its capabilities and service offerings Creating a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture The Ideal Candidate We're seeking a proven veterinary operations leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building teams and processes from the ground up. The successful candidate will possess: Previous leadership experience within the veterinary industry Exposure to Emergency and/or Specialty veterinary medicine A strong understanding of operational, financial, and people management principles Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a high-volume environment Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities A track record of improving operational efficiency and team performance Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make confident decisions in a dynamic setting A passion for creating outstanding experiences for both clients and employees Why Consider This Opportunity?
