Salary: $100,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 6+ years of experience, including at least 4 years designing data models for enterprise data warehouses and data marts.
• We need strong knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL, and data architecture.
• We look for database design experience across data warehousing and analytical data stores.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, data science, information technology, or data modeling.
• We expect experience with ER modeling, big data, enterprise data, and physical data models.
• We need experience developing and maintaining enterprise canonical models.
• We look for familiarity with data modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio or Erwin Data Modeler.
• We expect excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• We need the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• We look for experience translating conceptual models into logical and physical data warehouse models using canonical standards.
• We need the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on large-scale data initiatives.
• We expect the ability to lead stakeholder sessions to define data rules and review data models.
• We look for the ability to coach and mentor members of a data engineering team.
• Preferred experience includes exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Preferred experience includes exposure to messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Preferred software development experience with Python or JavaScript.
• Preferred experience with enterprise reference and master data management strategies.
• Preferred experience working with AWS cloud.

• We translate business needs into practical data models that support long-term solutions.
• We design and build logical and physical data models using best practices to improve data quality and reduce redundancy.
• We partner with the application development team to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models.
• We optimize and refresh logical and physical data models for both new and ongoing projects.
• We analyze data integration challenges and recommend effective solutions.
• We create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for our reporting layer and data marts.
• We define and communicate data standards, industry best practices, technologies, and architecture.
• We support development teams with application database design and mentoring.
• We contribute policies and guidelines that support governance of data management standards and best practices.
• We write complex SQL to profile data, improve performance, and support database design decisions.
• We create DDL and DML to deploy database structures and load data.
