Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Onsite Only District: Ecorse Public Schools Location: Ecorse, Michigan Schedule: Full-Time, K–12 Caseload Contract Dates: August 2026 – June 25, 2027 Position Summary Ecorse Public Schools is seeking a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students for the 2026–2027 school year. This role requires a clinician who is confident working face‑to‑face with students, collaborating with school teams, and delivering high‑quality speech and language services across multiple grade levels. Requirements Michigan SLP License (active and valid) Must be willing to work onsite only — no virtual services permitted Experience with school‑based caseloads preferred Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Key Responsibilities Provide direct therapy to K–12 students in individual and group settings Conduct evaluations, write reports, and determine eligibility for services Develop and implement IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines Support students using AAC when needed Deliver services across assigned school buildings within the district Ideal Candidate You thrive in a hands‑on school environment, enjoy working with diverse student needs, and value strong teamwork.
