Requirements Phoenix Children's is looking for experienced Pediatric Hospitalists to join their team at the Gilbert Campus! Dates of Coverage: Mid-February 2027 likely through Fall 2027. Open to part-time or full time must have a minimum of 4 shifts/month available Schedule: - all in house coverage Biggest need: 7a-4p on newborn side7a-8p on acute care pediatric side7p-730a overnight coverage of bothNo call coverage # of providers needed: 3-4 FTE Reason for coverage: New hospital opening openly recruiting Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital based Leadership position/required to teach: no leadership intermittent teaching of residents Patient population: 50 healthy newborns 50 pediatrics outpatient vs inpatient: 100 inpatient Average # of patients per day: 10-20 newborns 10-14 pediatric patients trauma level designation: Level 4 Required duties procedures skills: LP's are required if you work the floor circumcisions are optional EMR/Documentation: Allscripts on pediatric/PCH side Cerner on newborn/Dignity side but converting to Epic soon Additional notes: Shared women's/children's towerNewborn work is nursery only - no deliveries/NICU coverageEmphasis is on filling roles on the newborn sidePediatrics work is acute care only no ICU coverageHave in-house ED and PICUEmphasis on night coverage for Peds sidePLEASE DO NOT REACH OUT TO CURRENTLY EMPLOYED PROVIDERS OR SHARE RATES. Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 months Are Temps Available?
