About the Role:  As an HVAC Apprentice - Service, you will be responsible for assisting HVAC Technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. You will be responsible for performing basic tasks but also have the opportunity to learn more about the HVAC industry.

HVAC Apprentice - Service Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Perform basic HVAC tasks, including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing components such as filters, fans, and thermostats.
• Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Learn to read and interpret HVAC technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
• Acquire knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance in all service work performed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Learn to use HVAC tools, equipment, and testing devices under proper guidance.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete assigned tasks and projects.
• Actively participate in training programs, apprenticeship courses, and educational sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

HVAC Apprentice - Service Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the HVAC trade.
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Basic understanding of HVAC concepts and systems is a plus.
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work at heights and in various environments, including confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license.
