Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Pharmacist is sought for a retail pharmacy setting, supporting a busy environment with an average daily script volume of 200-300. This opportunity is contract to hire, offering a 13-week assignment with the potential for direct hire. The position is located in Grove City, OH, functioning within a pharmacy staffed by 5 technicians and 2 pharmacists.
Schedule and Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling in a retail setting
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists to maintain efficient workflow
- Utilize Prime RX for order entry and prescription management
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven retail pharmacy experience is required
- Experience with Prime RX pharmacy software is advantageous
- Licensed Ohio pharmacy technician required
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential for managing prescription processing and patient interaction
