Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, to maintain independence and confidence

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and progress

• Implement and modify occupational therapy interventions, including exercise programs, to promote patient recovery and improve functional abilities

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care and support

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and progress

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans

Requirements:

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification

• 2+ years of experience in occupational therapy or a related field

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed
