Formulation Technician I - Days or Nights

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks entry-level Formulation Technicians for a High Point, NC facility specializing in gelatin-based drug delivery systems. Positions involve machine operation, gelatin preparation, or post-production quality inspection on rotating day or night shifts with GMP compliance required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor encapsulation machines, adjust settings, and perform in-process quality checks
- Weigh raw materials, load gelatin silos, and monitor temperatures during gel manufacturing
- Inspect capsules for defects and operate tray inspection machines to ensure product quality
- Document all activities and maintain required records per work instructions and GMP standards
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and cleanup duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Legal authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Capability to follow complex instructions with precision
- Basic mathematical concepts and reasoning skills
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
