Formulation Tech II - Days or Nights

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks Formulation Technician II professionals for its High Point, North Carolina softgel manufacturing facility. This rotational shift role involves operating encapsulation equipment, preparing gelatin and fill materials, and performing quality control inspections in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate encapsulating machines and inline printing equipment, adjusting settings and temperatures as needed
• Weigh raw materials, load silos, and manufacture gel and fill materials per standard operating procedures
• Perform in-process testing and sampling to ensure product quality and accuracy
• Inspect capsules for defects and clean trays, equipment, and production areas
• Assist with machine setup, changeover, and other encapsulation duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing, operations, production, or lab experience
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
• Capacity to lift 40 lbs and work 12-hour rotating shifts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
