Job Summary:
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist specializes in performing and reviewing neurodiagnostic tests, including EEGs and evoked potentials, primarily within the epilepsy monitoring unit. This role involves ensuring accurate data collection and supporting patient diagnostics to aid in epilepsy management and neurological assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG, VEP, BAER, and SSEP recordings.
• Review, edit, and analyze digital EEG and video monitoring data.
• Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment in compliance with industry standards.
• Assist with off-site EEG procedures at designated locations.
• Guide and mentor students and junior staff in neurodiagnostic techniques.
• Support clinical workflows in the epilepsy monitoring unit and routine labs.

Qualifications:

• Hold accreditation from an accredited EEG school and be certified by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in neurodiagnostic testing or epilepsy monitoring.
• Demonstrate proficiency in digital EEG, video monitoring review, and editing.
• Have experience with Evoked Potentials (VEP, BAER, SSEP).
• Maintain strong technical skills and knowledge of neurodiagnostic equipment use and safety standards.
• Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills.
