EHS Specialist

Job Overview Position: EHS Specialist Location: New Kensington, PA Employment Type: Contract Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Compensation: $25-$30/hour Schedule Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM 40 Hours Per Week Responsibilities Conduct routine EHS inspections, audits, and facility walkthroughs Track and manage corrective actions from audits and inspections Maintain active floor presence and engage employees on EHS initiatives Assist with incident documentation, investigations, and reporting Support development and implementation of EHS programs and procedures Maintain compliance records, logs, and regulatory documentation Assist with EHS training coordination and safety communications Promote and support a positive safety culture throughout the facility Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field 0-2 years of EHS experience (internships/co-ops welcome) Basic understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Additional Requirements Drug Screen Required Background Check Required On‑site position located in New Kensington, PA Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
